Pudding Pudding! Privacy Policy

Effective date: 26 September 2026

This policy explains what information the Pudding Pudding! game ("the app", "we") handles on iPhone, iPad and Android, and the choices you have.

1. Information stored on your device

Your game progress (profiles, player names, stars, coins, unlocked stages, items and settings) is saved on your device. You can play without an account, and in that case nothing leaves your device except what the ad and purchase services below need.

2. Cloud account (optional)

After a round, the game invites you to create a free account. Signing in uses a one-time "magic link" sent by email, so there is no password. If you sign up, we store:

This data is stored with Google Firebase (Authentication and Cloud Firestore). See firebase.google.com/support/privacy. We do not sell or share it for advertising.

3. Leaderboards

Signed-in players appear on the weekly and all-time leaderboards. Only the generated nickname and score are public. Players cannot type their own public names, and emails are never shown.

4. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The free version shows ads provided by Google AdMob. To deliver ads, measure them and prevent fraud, Google may collect your device's IP address, device and app information, ad interactions and, only if you allow it, your device advertising identifier. Where the law requires it (for example in the EEA and UK), you are asked for consent first. You can change your choice at any time with Settings → Ad Privacy Choices in the app when that option is shown. On iPhone and iPad, personalised ads are only possible if you allow tracking in the system prompt, and you can change this in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Google's practices are described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

5. In-app purchase (Remove Ads)

The one-time "Remove Ads" purchase is processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see your payment details. To confirm and restore the purchase we use RevenueCat, which receives an app user ID, your purchase receipt, device type and country. If you have a cloud account, RevenueCat also receives your account ID and email address so the purchase follows your account to other devices. See revenuecat.com/privacy.

6. Children

The game is suitable for all ages. Before signing up, players are asked their birth year. Players under 13 cannot use their own email: a parent or guardian enters theirs, agrees to the sign-up, and the account is only created when the parent taps the link we email them. Children only ever appear publicly under a generated nickname. Ads in the app are limited to general-audience content, and children's builds request only non-personalised, child-directed ads. Parents can review or delete their child's data at any time (see below) or by contacting us.

7. Deleting your data

To delete your cloud account, open Account → Delete account in the app. This permanently removes your email, cloud save, nickname and leaderboard entries. For safety you may be asked to tap a fresh magic link first. You can also email us to request deletion.

Open Settings → Delete All My Data to erase every profile and all progress stored on the device. Uninstalling the app also removes this data. A Remove Ads purchase stays linked to your Apple or Google account and can be restored with "Restore Purchases".

8. Security

Cloud data is protected by access rules so that only you can read your private profile. All connections use encryption (HTTPS).

9. Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the effective date above and, for significant changes, notify you in the app.
